 Liebfraumilch is a semi-sweet white German wine that is light-bodied, easy to drink, and has soft fruity notes and aromas. The name translates to “Beloved lady’s milk” and refers to the Virgin Mary. Liebfraumilch is produced in the regions Rheinhessen, Palatinate, Rheingau, and Nahe, mostly for export.

German Rieslings

German Riesling is a white wine that is typically pale greenish yellow to light golden yellow in color, with light to medium body, and has a pronounced acidity and relatively low ABV. Common aromas and flavors include green apple, peach, and lime. Riesling can be dry, sweet, or somewhere in between, depending on where and how it’s produced.
